Legendary jazz genius Ornette Coleman wasn't really given the time of day a few months back at the Grammys by pretty much everyone there except Flea. Well proving how tiny something like a grammy can be, Ornette Coleman was given The Pulitzer Prize for his album "Sound Grammar". Take that Grammys! The guy helps define and innovate a whole genre of music, and people like Carrie Underwood might not care, but at least people with brains do! Kudos Ornette, you should get like 100 more Pulitzers for "The Shape Of Jazz To Come" alone.Tuesday, April 17, 2007
